Description: For purposes of delineating wetlands and waters of the United States (US), a Study Area was established according to the expected Project construction limits. On behalf of NPPD, HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) conducted a wetland and waters of the U.S. delineation within the Kearney Study Area on August 1 and 2, 2023, in accordance with the Regional Supplement to the Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual: Great Plains Region (Environmental Laboratory, August 2010). Based on field observations, a "Wetland Determination Data Form – Great Plains Region" was completed for each sample point, including uplands. Sample points, photo points, wetlands, and channels were mapped in the field using global positioning system (GPS) technology.
